Why We Believe in Solar
Every Member of American Solar Insights Has a Story.
Here’s Ours.
At American Solar Insights, we believe solar energy is more than a product—it’s a personal mission. Every person who joins our team brings their own story, their own passion, and their own reason for believing in solar. This page is a space for those stories.
Whether it’s about protecting the planet, helping families save money, or building a better future for our children, these “whys” are the heartbeat of American Solar Insights.
❤️ Bob A’s Why
From Kansas - Solar Advocate, Horseman, Family Man
“The sun powers all life on Earth. That’s what I’ve always told my kids—and that’s why I believe in American Solar Insights.”
I live in rural Kansas, on a property I mostly built with my own hands. There’s an orchard out back, horses in the pasture, and the kind of quiet that reminds you what matters. I’m blessed with a loving wife, three incredible children, and two grandchildren who remind me every day why the future matters.
My journey to solar wasn’t a straight line—it was a lifetime of hard work, grit, and reinvention. I’ve trained horses and rodeoed across the country. I’ve shingled roofs, welded fences, sold insurance, cars, and semi-trucks. I’ve driven trucks across the Midwest and worked with business owners nationwide. I’ve built homes, built relationships, and built a life rooted in self-sufficiency and purpose.
And after all that, I found myself asking: What’s next?
The answer was simple: solar energy.
Not because it’s trendy. Not because it’s easy. But because it’s right.
I’ve watched the current administration double down on fossil fuels while discrediting renewables. I’ve seen families struggle with rising energy costs and confusing options. And I’ve felt a deep, personal calling to do something about it.
So I started American Solar Insights—not just to sell solar, but to educate, empower, and inspire. I want to help homeowners make smart choices. I want to show them that solar isn’t just possible—it’s practical, profitable, and powerful.
But there’s urgency here, too. The federal solar tax credit is set to expire at the end of 2025, and every month that passes is another missed opportunity to lock in savings and secure energy independence. Our planet is changing fast, and the decisions we make today will shape the world our children and grandchildren inherit. Renewable energy isn’t just a smart investment—it’s a moral one. If we don’t act now, we risk falling further behind in a race we can’t afford to lose.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “I get it. I’ve lived that life. I want that freedom,” then I’d love to connect.
